About Me

I am Ana Rogers, a beach loving, picture taking SoCal native who spent many years daydreaming about life on an island in the pacific. In 2012, I decided to stop dreaming and start living and made the move to Oahu. And I've never looked back.

I spent over 15 years in sales & marketing in the electronics manufacturing industry and while it was a rewarding career, I decided to leave so that I could create a life that encompassed more of my passions.  

The desire to start my photography business began when I was decorating my home and had a hard time finding large scale pieces on Oahu that would coordinate with my coastal modern design aesthetic.  So I went on location with my old dusty camera to capture the scene I wanted. Then I played around in Photoshop for hours to get the acid splashed effect I wanted.  The image shown here was the result.  

I had it printed on a 40x60 canvas and it hung in my living room for a year before I sold it to a friend.  Soon more of my loved ones were wanting custom images for their homes too; so they commissioned me to their favorite spots on the island capture the scene, and design a custom image for them.  I'm half techie geek and half creative so the entire design process really appealed to me.

And that is where the idea was born for Envisage Hawaii.

My desire is to take pictures and edit them in a way that the colors and tones will evoke a certain feeling, while looking chic as a large scale canvas.  I want to attract clients who love their space and want the perfect piece for their decor.  I want to be able to create and customize my images so each person has that one-of-a-kind, special and sentimental feeling when they walk by their purchase.  Being able to share who I am and what I love with others in such a personal way is absolutely a dream come true for me.

In my free time I love to surf, stand up paddle surf, hike, read, nap, cook, and spend time with the people that mean the most to me.
